Toys are collected by the Marine Corps League #680 veterans and many volunteers and then provided to various social agencies and non-profit organizations in our area for distribution to families. The social agencies will determine the eligibility to receive the toys.
ELIGIBILITY
If the child receives free or reduced lunch or the family is eligible for MediCal or Healthy Families they automatically qualify for Toys for Tots. If you are not enrolled in one of these programs an income guideline will be followed (for example a family of four that has a monthly gross income under $1,767.00 would be eligible to receive toys). You will be asked to certify that you meet these requirements. A photo ID and proof of residence is also required at most locations.

If you live out of our area and want to know how to apply for toys, call your county social services department or local non-profit organizations, such as the Salvation Army, to sign up. You may also check the National Toys for Tots web site and look for a Marine Office or Coordinator close to your home.
